Matercraft X Star was hauled to the lake for this tournament. On my first run the boat ran out of gas, so then I got to head
back to the starting dock and ride again! I landed a tantrum, frontside backroll, and attempted a wrapped 3 to get a score
of 14.2 on the 9th and take first!!!

DOUBLEUP COMPETITION
This was just a fun little thing we did at the end. Scott Finnie won the prize money. ($10 from all contestants) Good old
Shane went for a gimungous tanny right in front of the dock, while his brother Darren attempted a temper tantrum (double).
Believe it or not he was unbelievably close to stomping it!!! (look out Parks) Darren also recieved best crash for his attempt.
Joey tried some crazy mobe thing and a stalled slob 3, and nothing else was really kool about that competition. I dont even
remember what Scott did to win.

Me and Shawn Watson at the O'Neill Tent
This was sooo fun. There was a HUGE lightning storm the first night and we were sleeping in tents!! The next day was cloudy
but the riding was unreal. So many sponsor's tents were set up and we got to meet lots of pros. We actually sat on the podium
and talked with Robby Stru for a while and he was a really nice guy. We told him to do a Nose Grab Crow Mobe and sure enough
he did it in his run and pointed at us right after! It's true, you can see it on tv if you watch the Abbotsford stop. Rob
invited us to go hang out with him and Shaun Murray after the riding was done. We did and we got to sit around and sing songs
with Shaun goin hardcore on his guitar. Later that night aaron suggested that Rob should try a certain move and it was quite
humourus. I laughed. The next day we found ourselves ending up at the Virgin Drinks free sample booth quite a bit. We got
a couple pics and autographs from Parks, Shawn, Zane and some others. Overall that trip was a 10 for sure. I cant wait to
go again next year. The final results are shown Below.

Parks cleaned up this tournament with his Double Half Cab Roll and a Switch Toeside Frontside 900. This is when Parks first
signed with Hyperlite. Shawn came close with his stomped Off Axis 9 and a Huge Frontside 7. Darin Shapiro landed the first
ever S-Bend to Blind in a competition and scored third.
